January 2nd, 2004 - The new year brings a new feature, and my Diary. Enjoy.

It was the day after New Year's 2004, a Friday, and I was called into Scott's Grille because they were anticipating a dead night, and they wanted to "spice" it up with DJ Scottie. When I got there... it was dead. But I worked my magic, (how melodramatic), and the night picked up.

Contrary to the owners' belief, my last minute e-mail brought out several "wouldn't have come" regulars and a bunch of new faces I've been grilling about not ever coming out. All in all, it was a great night, and thanks to everyone who came out to party with us on the first Friday of the new year. Especially:

Birthday girl (and rocker chick) Susan, and her sisters, who were going to leave because they came to see the band that I subbed for at the last minute. Luckily they stayed and had a great time. Funny how sister Joan turned out to be a long-lost friend, who it was great to see again! I was happy to give Susan one of my Retro Medleys CDs for her birthday, and surely hope she, Kathy, and Joan come back and see me again. (My schedule is right on my home page.)

The wild and crazy girls, who I was very sad to see leave early. The night started out great, with tons of laughing and fun. But sometime after I gave them half of my dinner and a nice imported treat, one of them accidentally spilled a beer, which went all over, including her clothes, and ultimately resulted in an early exit. I hope these two come back, (in leather of course), and let me make it up to them. We all missed your smiles after you left girls!

My favorite Vixen Chelle (on the right), and her sister, who came out just because of my e-mail. God bless modern technology. Chelle was sporting a great new do, and looked terrific, maybe it was because her stud Steve was home sick in bed. Boo hoo, more Chelle for me! :-) Hope you're feeling better Steve. We'll see you next time around.

Ugh, that big lug Scott Schultz, who forced me, at camera point, to do a shot with him. Scott, who hasn't shown his face ever at Scott's, at least when I've been there, then made me promise to post this picture, probably to prove to his staff that he does have a life. :-) And, on that note, I fully expect Mr. Party Central to come out again, and bring the entire staff the next time I'm spinning. (Remember, free goodies for chicks in leather Scott. How could you forget?)

And finally, to Kelly, and her goofy significant other, who will certainly think twice next time about making faces at a DJ with a camera. Anyway, Kelly was one of those rare patrons who asked me if I sell my retro mixes on CD. Ahem. So, I gave Kelly one of my Retro Medleys CDs and the 411 on how to get many more CDs absolutely free... like my new SEXY CD. Unfortunately her long leather coat didn't qualify, sorry. Yet, I sense her leather-clad presence in my future... I hope. :-)

Honorable mentions go to Karen and Michelle. Karen wins the coordinated separates award with special kudos to the boots, while Michelle gets the "Running Around Making Requests For Karen" award.

And, last but not least, there's Nurse Girl, from my Let's Make A Deal Halloween Party at Scott's Grille last year. Mmm, mmm, mmm. Her outfit was all white, all vinyl and ended in a pair of killer red platform knee boots. Phew. Now if I could only remember her name, I wouldn't be so embarrassed. I'm sure she'll point it out to me next time we meet. Little does she know, if she wears the boots I'll give her a free CD, and as if it would ever happen, if she wore the entire outfit, I'd give here all of my CDs and one of the coveted limited-edition DJ Scottie "Sex Maniacs" t-shirts, which everyone knows is quite the prize.
